About Handling Personal Information

Japan Landslide Society of Public Interest Incorporated Association (hereinafter called Society) observes Personal Information Protection Law and the dealing of the personal information of members (hereinafter called personal information) is described in the following.

• About acquiring Personal Information
  In case where the Society acquires personal information, the Society executes proper and fair means within the necessary ranges by clearly explaining the purposes of its uses.
• Ranges of Use of Personal Information
  The personal information that the Society acquired by the above-mentioned means never be used beyond the purposes of uses mentioned below without the consent of a member himself.
  (1)Situation Management of Membership Fee Payment
  (2)Sending of Academic Journals, Publications of the Society, or Invitations (Head Office, Branches)
  (3)Analysis of Member Structure
• Proper Management of Personal Information
  The Society takes proper safety measures to prevent illegal access to the personal information the society acquired by the above-mentioned measures, and the loss, falsification or leakage of the information.
• In case where a member wishes the inquiry, modification or deletion of his own personal information, the Society will give prompt service within the rational ranges at the office counter.
